Be part of a participatory community choir series curated by Lincoln Center Visionary Artist Jeanine Tesori, one of the most prolific and honored theatrical composers in history. On May 17th the choir will be led by renowned arranger, composer, and creative director Allen René Louis, Artistic Director of Broadway Inspirational Voices. Louis will be joined by celebrated pianist Joseph Joubert for a morning of music centering the Gospel tradition. Join us in a celebration of harmony and community, featuring songs by Donald Lawrence, Richard Smallwood, and Walter Hawkins, and more.

We especially welcome those familiar with singing Gospel music, but no musical preparation is necessary.

There are two registration options: you can sign up to participate in the choir to come and sing, or to observe and come and listen. You are welcome to perform with the choir or enjoy the experience as an audience member. You can decide to change how you participate when you arrive on the day of the event.
