On July 23, 2026 the Next Generation takes center stage at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts! Lincoln Center, alongside DoSomething.org and Generation Citizen, will host their third annual NextGen Changemakers Summit—an all-day program of workshops and collaboration for artistically inclined and civic-minded teens. Centering experiential artmaking, advocacy, and community building, this event convenes teens who want to use their talents and voice to be active participants in democracy and change. Young musicians, poets, filmmakers, dancers, actors—and all-around creatives—explore how to lend their imaginations to envision our future.

This year’s Summit features a performance by composer and multidisciplinary artist, Samora Pinderhughes, and a performance and Civic Speakeasy hosted by NYC Youth Poet Laureate, Hinoki Hsu.
